Adult Channels Blacked Out in my Area

A couple of the Adult channels are blacked out in my area. Is there a way to move via their website like DTV so I can get them?

yes, you could move to a city that they are not blacked out in. it might effect your locals depending on where you live.

Are you close (like 50 miles or less) to a neighboring open minded state border? My example, I have a buddy that lives near the Utah/Arizona state line, so he "moved" his service address to the closest AZ town so he could get the channels not allowed to him in UT, but he still kept the same local DMA.

Yup porn via satellite is illegal in the bible belt states.

I don't know all the states that don't allow it, but I would consider Utah to be more than just a plain, Bible-belt state.

For Dish programming, Ten is the (slightly) cleaned up version of Extassy (allowed in all states).

The "Money Shot" is removed, as well as another specific (and sometimes painful) activity.

It's sad that some states are able to regulate what's happening in your bedroom. Glad I don't live in one of those places (though who knows as the republican power gets more and more one-sided).

There are six states that have such regulation (though I can't remember what they are).

The "sexless six" as I've heard them called are Utah, Mississippi, North Carolina, Alabama,
Tennessee and Oklahoma. That programming is also banned in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Yes North Carolina is one of them, but here is what is strange.
You are allowed to go to town, and purchase the hardest core XXX that
the mind can image. Also sex toys are legal.

So in other words, I can go to town and buy or rent the nastiest video that has every been made. Then buy what ever adults toys I might think would go with the video. However I can't purchase a video on dish. Whats up with that.
