AFN no video no sound but i have a lock signal Please help

I am setting up afn and I am able to get a lock signal and I see the AFN channel description like the tv station and the radio station but no video and sound. The signal quality is zero. I called afn and they said I am not on the afn bird but I can see the channel description. The decoder work because I tried it on a good satillite and it works. If anyone can help me

Welcome to the forum Tony! We need more info. What are the coordinates of the channel you are trying to lock? Sat, freq, symbol rate,etc?

do they have that receiver authorized? When my Airman was in the sandbox they had to get the receiver reauthorized each deployment.

yup it needs to be authorized. You'll get Pentagon channel which is in the clear but the rest is scrambled

The Pentagon channel has no video and the signal light is steady on the pentagon channel but there is no video.
