All I want is a receiver

Back story...I use a Wingard Carryout for tailgates. I've been using my main 722 receiver. Take it out of my main set up, run setup at tailgate, rerun back home. Getting tired of it. I just want a 211k as a dedicated receiver. I don't wNt or need a tech visit, I just need a receiver and it be assigned to my account. Dish will replace an old 522 with a 211 but I simply cannot be home for a tech visit and really don't understand why I need one. I know I can buy one, here's the question, how do I then add it to my account?

Just buy what you want from a retailer or eBay or wherever, then call Dish to activate it. That's all you have to do.

Go to dishdepot.com. Get it cheap and with some sort of warranty. And hen call dish with the receiver number and smart card number and they will add it on. It's a simple process
