Almost all Android phones vulnerable to authentication attack

Lather, rinse, repeat.

It seems everything these days is in a crack/repair/crack/repair etc cycle.

If someone is sniffing your LAN when you authenticate, there's a chance that they may be able to capture your authentication information as it passes through unencrypted. Google's solution is to make sure the authentication information will no longer pass unencrypted.
