AM 21 not finding channels at all.

WHY DON'T D DO AWAY WITH THE AM 21 AND DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE TO OUR RECIEVER SO WE CAN SCAN FOR OTR WITH THE RECIEVER.

Because none of the irds aside h20 and Hr20 have Ota tuners. The am21 is needed. The database sucks however. I did notice that after installing my 54 it did not find any of my ion affiliates. Odd but not critical to me. My hr44 as well as 3 hr24s all get it.

I actually had to take the preamp off of my antenna, because I started to have issues with channels not getting picked up.

I lost the local PBS and its subchannels, which was no big loss to me.

Of course when the HR-44/700 gets a new update. I have to go through and do the channel scan again.
