American Idol - Jimmy Replaced Simon?

Is it just me or does this guy named Jimmy that is also giving everybody a review right before the results seem like a replacement to Simon? Seems kind of clever for them to do it and an interesting twist.

Every now and then, you get lucky. Where was he when the Beatles and Elvis was around???

You know what, I still don't care what he has to say. I skip his comments. I also have gotten int he habit of skipping the judges "critiques". I've realized, I DON'T CARE what anyone has to say. If I like the performance, I like the performance. If I dislike the performance, I dislike the performance and will not be talked out of it. The good news is that this way I can watch the two hour Idol shows in less than an hour and still hear every note sung.
