If I change my programming to the AEP package today, will they waive the $5.98 DVR fee? I know it was waived before but with the introduction of the DVR Advantage plan I'm not sure they do now. Also, I just spoke to a CSR and he said no. But since they are always the last ones to know, I'd like to hear from some of you.

The good news is they waive the $5.98 DVR fee, the bad news is they added $6.00 'waived fee fee'

Seriously my current bill shows

DISH NETWORK DVR SERVICEFEE 0.00

so I would think it's still valid.

At least I had never paid a DVR fee since my first 510 and I have
AEP from 2002 till this day.

I think you only save on the first DVR, the second DVR would still cost you $5.98.

No that s only for the Dish Advantage plan.
The everything pack is DVR fee free on all DVR's as far as I know.

That's correct the DVR free is free on ALL DVR's with the everything pack.

Not always true.

When you add the aep, the computer should take the fee off, if not there can be a credit applied from when you added aep to end of the billing period.

The DVR fee on dish equipment is nothing more than a "because we can" fee. Nothing more, nothing less. Always has been, always will be.
