You need a positioner. If you don't have one, there is no place to hook the wires from the actuator up. I used sprinkler wire to hook my actuator to the positioner. I used a 7-wire set, thinking I might use a corotor at some point, but that hasn't happened yet. You need at least four wires. If I were just starting in FTA, I would get one of the open box positioners that Titanium sells. As it is, my vbox is working just fine, so it's hard to justify replacing it, but I'd love to be able to use my co-rotors.
