My first post here of anywhere....
Have a Starchoice Amplifier 150478 and would like to know two things. First, how can it be tested as it appears to be getting 'snowy' in the reception area and Secondly, where does one purchase another ?

Let me welcome you but have no answer for you. You will really need to tell us more about what this "amp" is and what it's doing before you can tell you anything.

Is that an amp or the LNB? When I run that part number I get a Shaw Stacked LNB (the flashlight version)

Yes, that is what it is, a Shaw stacked LNB.

If "NS" stands for Nova Scotia, all you have to do is call Shaw Direct for dish service under the "Simple Satellite" program
