Another DVR Advantage question

I have not received my latest statement with the new pricing yet, but I have question. My last statement read as follows:

DHP DishHD Platinum W/locals $109.99
DVR Service Fee $0.00
Leased Receiver Fee $6.00

I'm pretty sure the $109.99 included a $5 insurance fee of some sort. If I go to DVR Advantage, will I still be responsible for the $5 fee or will I be in a different plan altogether? I have tried in the past to cancel the $5 insurance plan, but was told I could not cancel because that's what I originally signed up for. I'm not sure what it's called exactly. Does anyone know if it cancels that original plan for sure?

I'm in the same boat you are. However, I am not sure if you retain the plan after switching to DVRAdvantage or not. I too would like to know.

I'm not sure the benefit of this plan. I would like to cancel, but I was told a few months back that I could not cancel. Do you know the advantage of this $5 plan?
