Another question about my recent install...

I had Dish installed yesterday. Everything seems great so far with one exception. For some reason, why I select TBS HD (or TBS SD for that matter) from the guide it is
intermittently unavailable. It tells me that I have lost connection to the satelite (129 I believe). If I surf around to other channels and come back and try TBS again, sometimes it comes in and sometimes it gives me the same error message. I ran a check switch test and everything looks ok. Any ideas what the problem might be?
 
When you go to the channel and it says no signal. Hit Menu 6-1-1 and see what the signal strength is. Dish may not be pointed right.

You were right. I was getting signal strength of around 10 on the 129. I called Dish customer support and after a series of voice guided menus, I finally got connected to a customer service rep who was very friendly and helpful. They are sending a technician on Saturday to fix the problem.
