Antenna Grounding?

I originally wanted to reply in this thread but it was too old and I didn't want to distract from the original poster in this thread.

First of all that
Great read. Thanks for the information.

I have a couple questions regarding the proper grounding of my roof top antenna. According to this picture I can run a #10 copper thhn from the antenna mast directly to the 2" rigid riser and then run #6 copper thhn from the grounding block to the system ground. Is this correct? If so, this saves me from running #10 copper thhn from the antenna mast along the roof, around the awning, and down the brick to the system ground.
