You can get one on a free lease. You pay $5/month to lease the 811, but you do not pay the $5/month mirror fee that you would pay on an 811 that you owned. You have to call Dish for the Dishing it up promotion.

Mike, would that apply to me? I have 3 months left on a 1 year commitment(811 & 301). I would like to lease a second 811.

Not all Dish customers are able to get the leased receiver deals. If you have good pay habits, above average programming and been with them over 6 mos (estimate) it's likely that for around $30.00 you can have the 811 delivered an installed. Lease fee of $5.00 will take the place of the additional receiver fee. The customers that are normally eligible for the best promotions are those that have referred someone to Dish with those gift cards. Call and ask them to send you those.
