Any News on the Captive Works 4000 HD?

Please move this if it needs to be in a different forum.

The CaptiveWorks 4000 HD listed at GOsatellite.com caught my eye, but I have not seen any reviews on it. It appears that this one device would pretty much give you the best of all worlds. Since it has network capabilities, I should be able to store photos, music, movies, etc. on a computer and access the files through this FTA box.

I know the price tag is a bit steep, and it would cost another $300 to turn it into a PVR system.

Has anyone been able to get their hands on one of these boxes to do a review?

sorry, not yet

- the Go site says "pre-order", so they don't have 'em.
- Go doesn't list a $300 solution to make it record; they show two drive add-ons for $139 & $169
...but perhaps you know something that I didn't catch...

Oh, and it doesn't seem to do blind scan, so it's hardly the be-all, end-all receiver, IMO.

I stand corrected. I'm not sure where I came up with $300.00 Since this box is not out yet, I may start a savings fund to get my HDTV and this FTA box. Maybe blind scan will be included when it's finally released.
