The Wiggles left Disney to PBS Sprout. Anyone know whether this channel is coming to Dish? I honestly never heard of it and it seems like it's a great channel for kids.

It is strange that this channel is on every other provider. Dish seems to be the only one without it. Comcast is part owner so maybe it will be added when E! and G4 are added in HD.

Has it even been rumored this channel is coming? Why is Dish always the last to get most new channels? Gotta love Charlie.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that the high cost was a BIG issue for Dish before. Perhaps Dish will pull a Logo and add "PBS Kids Sprout HD" to the Premium HD Pack so they can get the most money out of it. I wouldn't mind that because my niece and nephew really enjoy a lot of the shows, and The Wiggles ALONE is enough of a reason for Dish to get this channel. Those without children would say that comment is nuts. 80 % of parents of young children on this site though probably would say their kids at least like watching The Wiggles...if they aren't obsessed with it. LOL

Yes, no doubt its the money, and Charlie may feel he has enough kiddie channels that just don't warrant the extra expense, and PBS channels were very expensive, and they probably still are.

Right now, I don't think any cable, IPTV, FiOS, or satellite company is really interested in adding any more SD channels. If they are added, it is most likely because of leverage. HD is where they have to spend the money, now.
