I called and asked them if they could come close to the price of MLB.TV using the ps3, had to talk to a few different people but came away with EI for free (after discounts) and additional discounts on top of that.
Wow, I tried calling twice. Nope 219! Ill give it one more try.
Its so funny, they try telling me what a value it is but no discount.

I had it last year and did not really use it to its potential so I called to cancel and they said they would give me 25.00 credit per month for 6 months so I kept it. Saving 150.00 bucks.
Agreed! 219 is nuts.
Ive tried 3 times and they are playing hardball. No pun intended. lol
I think last year they gave it to me for 100 bucks.
I can wait until season plays out a little bit.
When I called to cancel they offered me $20 off each EI payment. I told them MLB.TV is still less, last longer, and give me more options and did not get anything better
and you should know that most times each call and its details may be logged in the system noting how many calls in, what you were offered and such. So play roulette carefully.
No discounts for a long time. ill either bite the bullet or wait till mid season.
Direc is tough these days. Its been a while since there customer service has been stellar.
Im not ready to leave them. Id miss all my NFL and Hockey.

Yeah, it sucks to have to keep doing that. I called three times over two weeks and finally said I wanted to cancel my subscription (MLBEI) and that's when they gave me the discounts. But I have to agree with Charper....they do note when you call in for that stuff.
I thought about waiting till the half way point last year, tyhen found they wanted like $ 150 for the 2nd half and decided it was WAY too much for a half a season.
Now if they wanted $ 99 for the 2nd half I might bite, but $ 150 was ridiculous, as is $ 219 for the year, just a few years ago it was $ 169 iirc correctly.
I think I paid 100 bucks for half the season last year. Not a bad deal.
Again I think 219 not including tax is allot.

I just love MRV. Roku does not have this.
I can only watch it in my bedroom.
I think I like it even more then the sling on my dish 922.
Which is cool. I rarely use it though.
