currently there are 8 recording slots for io (click settings twice, scroll up to see "vcr timer"). now, what these do are change the channels, at the time allocated, to a chosen channel for however long you want - disabling the remote control (apart from pressing "exit"). these features are very important to me, and when i was on directv they had unlimited amount of these. is there any way to increase these? or maybe other alternatives to change the channels at certain times? i currently have a 4250HD if that makes a difference.
any way to set more than 8 preset recordings on io?
