Anyone else having trouble with on-demand for the channels?

Most of the time you really don't know if you get a refurb or not unless you look into the situation ... the tech is not gonna come out and say you get a new or you get a refurb.

Fwiw, I think they have a refurb sticker on the bottom ...
I actually cancelled the service call, and they are just mailing a 44 out. I asked for a new one.
 
I just activated my refurbished receiver (not really that big of deal). Question, the new access card was missing, so I called tech support and they transferred me to someone higher than herself, and she went through it and said to use the old one. My question for you guys is, does using the old one matter, or did the multiple CLEARMYBOX searches I did screw it up so I should get a new card? Anyone know?
 
I found the access card and had it activated in my Genie and am getting an envelope to mail back the old one since I found the new one. Everything is working perfect now!!!
 
fyi, there's no way they can guarantee you'll get a new receiver when ordering over the phone. all replacements that are sent out (and most drop shipped upgrades) are refurbished, notated or not.
