Anyone else with issues yesterday?

Around 3:00pm my remote would not turnoff hopper, could not watch any recorded program (error 2429)
Did all the resets unplugging ect. Called support spent 30 minutes with the first person, he first said
Dish updated their software so the power button would no longer work, they either hung up or connection dropped
Another hour with the next one finally got it fixed..no idea what the issue was.

Could be remote going bad or weak batteries. I am facing similar on and off issues currently and holding out as long as I can before replacing the remote. Mine is definitely the remote.

No i want a hopper 4 .. if the specs are as was said on a reddit post . a hopper that serves snacks and adult beverages would be awesome .. but we know there's no such thing as a hopper 4...
i remember a post on reddit saying something about a hopper 4 with a 4TB M.2 drive 32 tuners and more ram than the hopper 3 . but we know there's no hopper 4 coming out!!!

No issues with our hopper 3!!! knock on wood ... only our 4k joey would lag alot but the joey 4 is amazing

I was quite happy with my ViP722 boxes. Came to appreciate the HWSes that replaced them. Then I got the Hopper 3!

Very happy with it.

Pretty much the only reason I stay with Dish is the greatness of the H3 and the remaining recordings on it. Lost almost all EHD recordings.

i appreciate the hopper 3 performance it's fast and snappy unlike some dvr's where you feel like your at the snail races . and the new config is sweet it installs like a swm setup . the one thing that annoys the hell out of me with dish is every other channel seems like a home shopping network of some sort !!! i have never seen so many home shopping networks in my life...

i ended up with 2 4000 boxes in my business for music only before i offloaded it and an 18 inch dish. i remember the 40 channels for $19.99

VIPs have issues, too. I had Trouble Calls on VIP receivers every single day when they were the main boxes and we STILL do.

So set up a List without the channels you don't want to see

I changed the batteries, remote would work, just would not turn off hopper 3 and could not turn off the hopper 3
even with the button on the hopper 3. And could not watch any recorded programs even the ones we started watching in the past.
