Here's one I haven't seen yet. Longtime user of AirPods while listening to sports at night so my wife can sleep. The connection to my wireless Joey has always worked fine; however I just got the new AirPods Pro 3 model and it's a different story.

The new pods do connect faster but when skipping forward the audio is lost. Happens every time. I have to disconnect the, from the Joey and reconnect them to get audio back. Try to do any amount of skipping, audio lost.

I can only imagine it's got something with the bluetooth codec the Joey uses. Dunno. Anyone have any ideas.

The Pods do have the latest firmware so unfortunately that did not help. I think it's an issue on the Dish hardware side. Not my specialty but since the Dish bluetooth has never been as "elegant" or smooth as say Apple and Android do it maybe their codec needs to be upgraded? Don't think I have ever seen anything on the forums about Dish bluetooth upgrades and what versions of the bluetooth codec they support. My feeling is that it is not on Apple's side. Dunno but it's very frustrating.

Please let us know if this disconnect gets fixed. Kinda makes them useless, IMHO.

Yes it does for this specific use. I do have more faith in Apple's software than I do in Dish's. My feeling is that it's an issue on the Dish side. I may actually have to pick ip the phone and call to report it. Uggg
