The one I have on my laptop works great. However, I'd probably never want to use this as a lock/unlock mechanism unless there was a fallback or alternate fail safe method of unlocking the phone. Can you imagine this part breaking and the entire phone becoming unlockable? That would be a mess! A fingerprint and/or passcode setup would work quite nicely though.
