I just found this today, don't know how long it has been there.
If you have PlayLater and run iTunes on your Windows box, the AppleTV can see and play the recordings you make with PlayLater. Note that it won't stream PlayOn streams, only recordings. If you have the HD add-on for PlayLater, the recordings will be in HD if the source material is.
What I've found with PlayLater is that if streaming from PlayOn is a little hinky, you can record the show with PlayLater and the odds are it will work fine. Not 100% of the time, but most often.
