Archos 604 WiFi Question

The below article seems to state if I were to buy an Archos 604 Wifi or any of the new Archos PMP it will eventually play/work with E*.

Is this true I would like to get one of these sooner rather than later and just download the E* compatability.

Anything is possible, but it would be prudent to wait for official announcements from Dish on the new Dish Player models.

I suspect Dish will be making an announcement of some sort in September.

It could be that the new "Dish Player" units are simply the new Archos units with "Compatible with Dish Network" stamped on the box.
