Are Hoppers quieter than the 622 and 722? We have a 622 and 722 and they are easily heard when the TV is off as well as when the volume is lower.

My receivers are very quiet. You'd have to really listen hard (and close) to hear them. Certainly not audible from where I am sitting or during low volume.

I recently swapped the Joey for the Hopper in my bedroom because of tuner issues. I can hear the Hopper running even when it's powered down. Got used to it though.

My Hopper is definitely quieter than the 722 is replaced. I can barely hear it in a quiet room.

Not sure about 722 but the 3 722ks I dealt with (still have 1) were super quiet.

Hoppers are real quiet, a bit off subject but joeys are quiet as well, great to have a Joey in the bedroom and not hear a fan

We replaced a 612 in our bedroom with a hopper. The 612 sounded like a 747 in comparison. I have never noticed the sound of the hopper once.

Not in comparison, the 612 sounds like a 747. Lol. But in seriousness, the hoppers are quiet.
