AT&T Digital Life app for DirecTV receiver?

I can tell you from experience that directv is no longer setting up new installs or upgrades for lifeshield. So I forsee a stb app coming, but I have no proof of such a feature. Remember digital life is a service region based service. It is NOT available everywhere.

Assuming you have a keypad panel in your bedroom, I'd agree. However if you're panel is on another level, the TV (or walking to a device with the app) would be easier.

I would think you would get the panels where you would need/want them when you do the set up .... no ?

I would think that getting up and walking over to the panel and hit a button would be simplier and quicker than either of the other ideas.

Seeing that my iPhone is always with me, and most of the times my iPad is a few feet away, either option for me works.

well you could, but extra panels cost extra mula, so sometimes you have to do with whatever comes in the package.
