I refuse to use a hotspot that charges for access. Of course I'm a cheapskate who can't understand why anyone would pay money for a bottle of water, not to mention four bucks for a cup of coffee.

They should be using internet as a way to attract customers to their restaurant, not as an additional profit center.

Taco Bell and Krystal have free internet so if I have the computer with me and it's lunchtime, I will tolerate their food.

AT&T Wi-Fi Basic service is FREE and already included if you subscribe to AT&T High Speed Internet, AT&T U-verseSM or AT&T FastAccess® DSL with a speed of 1.5 Mbps or higher. No ordering required! Simply use your AT&T high-speed Internet membership ID and password at any AT&T Wi-Fi Basic hot spot
