AT9 and 6802

I just had my HR20 and AT9 install. I'm not in an area (Boise) where I will receive any feeds from 99 and 103, yet... My concern, is that I only only see a signal on the #3 transponder on 99, but nothing on 103. Shouldn't I have signal on them, even though I'm not receiving any channels? If so, could I be missing the signal because I have a 6802 multiswitch rather than the WB68? Tech support said that the 6802 will work fine, but I've read otherwise. What's the real deal?
