I'm sure it wasn't too hard too do. Covering only a very small area (couple of farms to a 1/4 state) is probably more complicated than a middle to large area (1/2 state or several).
But I think the final adjustments are done whenever there is a space shuttle flight. You may notice that Charlie is always on vacation then, and I think he does a space walk to do all the final adjusting on the beams.
