ATSC question?

This could be a dumb question, but anyway:

Could I get my local channels on HD if I have a tv with ATSC built in? If yes, How?

I connected my antenna to my TV but nothing happened.

IF it has a built-in ATSC tuner you need to connect the CORRECT antenna type AND have it aimed at the correct heading needed for your location. Then go into the TV's menu and set it to scan for OTA channels per your particular make & model's instructions.
