I have been seeing occassional audio dropouts, and less occassional video freezes that last about .1 second. They are starting to happen ofen enough to become annoying. Receiver is a 508, and it has been in use long enough that I wondering is disk fragmentation is the problem.

Does anybody know of a way to defrag a 508's disk.

whats your signal strength like, does this only happen on recorded events, if on recorded events on what channel's and are they on the same sats and transponders, are these events recorded at a specific time? I have a 508 and have had issues with the same thing in the past only on recorded events, how much drive space is taken up?

Nope, I'm seeing it mostly on live, or when I have paused a live feed. I have about 20 hours free on the disk.

There is a tree starting to grow up into the area, but I think it is still ok. Signal levels in the high 90s for both sats.
