automated channel editing?

Although I know it is just part of the hobby, but going to lyngsat and "The List" and editing sat lists and channel lists manually can be very time consuming. Is there any online resource that channel master can link to and automatically retreive individual sats/TPs/channels? Is there any other tool with the power of channel master that can do something similar? If I were to write something myself, is there a way to access lyngsat or The List and do queries? I would prefer not to parse HTML.

The new version of TheList will have the ability to create a downloadable Channel Master file.
I am not sure when it will be released, I hope to release the new version of TheList by the end of the month.
