Azbox Premium Plus Power Supply Internal Hard Drive

I recently added a Plus to my collection along with my Ultra's. I swapped one of the drives from the Ultra to the Plus (green low power drive recommended here) and the next day while watching the PS quit. Just wondering for those of you that had the PS problem if you were or were not using an internal drive? I have a new PS and I'm thinking of pulling the HD before I hook this one up.

Yes I was using a 750GB drive when my PS quit.

From what I have heard so far, it doesn't appear to be a factor. Some have had a drive installed and some haven't and the PS blew either way.

I have had a 750gb Samsung HD for two years but I have never had a poblem with the Ps

Thanks for the input. From the info I have gathered HD or no HD didn't seem to cause the PS to drop out.

I just wanted to check before I used the replacement supply

I think it's the power supply

I had a recommended WD drive in my Azbox and two power supplies quit working after very little use. The dealer sent me a third power supply that had been repaired, and it has been working ever since.
