Back in action after a while out

Hey guys, its been a while since I posted or messed with my FTA stuff but yesterday I got all my stuff out after work and decided it was time to start playing again. Its also cool here in NW FL right now so that had something to do with it my urge to get outside play heh. It was a good feeling to see those chans start coming in! I attached some pics.

Quick question though... this weekend i would like to scan for some feeds... but with everyone and their mom having an HDTV now, are most feeds in HD? I have a Viewsat Ultra, CS 6100, and Sonicview 4000. All SD DVB. No HD MPEG4 S2 or 4:2:2 You think I will be able to find any that will be able to be got with my IRDs?

feeds in general or sports feeds?

Lots of sports feed still in 4:2:0 but some are moving to 4:2:2. These are the ones that the 2 big sports networks usually use but there are still tons of news & sports feeds in 4:2:0

great thanks Ice! sports and news, just anything really, its been about a year since i messed with this thing so im just jumping from bird to bird looking around hehe

there are some HD feeds and 4:2:2 feeds but like I say news feeds are usually 4:2:0 and lots of sports feeds are still 4:2:0

Still lots of things to watch , olliec, you'll find a lot of changes since you looked. 123 is practically blank now, all the Equity channels bit the dust, and retrotv is now called RTV,moved to AMC9 and is a bear to receive for some people. But plenty of freebies all around, day and night.

thanks turbo, yeah i noticed 123 was scarce last night, before i leave work im going to spend about an hour on lyngsat and pick some birds. did 97 and 123 last night. hopefully lyngsat is up-to-date.

scan 105 and east from there. should find a few SD games.
but alot have gone HD these days.
