I did try going directly to the IP address, but that gave a DNS error, I assumed there was an issue with the servers not being able to talk to each other.

I wondered what was going on but figured the site would be back up today. I also checked the twitter feed but nothing posted. Didn't even see anything posted on DBSTalk (the only time I go there is if this site goes down and I see if someone posted about the outage).

I don't think Twitter is actively used by SatGuys. More likely it's only updated by a tool/app that has checkboxes for "post update to Facebook, Twitter, etc" when things are posted.

It was nice to see it working again this morning. Was surprised there wasn't a notice on the sat guys twitter feed about it last night.

That's because it was not down for everyone. It was up but there was something strange going on as most people were not able to access it until 2am.

When I went to bed at 11 there were over 400 people online
