I want to try it, at least up to the battering & deep frying part, maybe not put 3 strips on one ring though.

I wrapped 3 Onion rings with 2 strips bacon (had to split one)and cooked in an electric skillet with a light coating of canola oil till Bacon was brown... good stuff!

Worth the time I would think.... after all EVERYTHING is better with bacon!
