I did this file last year, and lots of baseball fans said they used it and enjoyed, so here it is again for 2009.

This is an Excel sheet with ALL Spring Training games that are televised. It includes all stations, such as locals, RSNs, MLB.TV, Canada, etc - ALL.

The best way to use this sheet is to open the one sorted by team, and find you favorite team. You now have a list of ALL games that are televised this spring training for them.

This is most valuable for people that subscribe to the sports package on Dish or Direct. For Dish, it is only $5.99/mo, for DirecTV it is $12/mo (or less if you have other premiums). If you're a baseball fan - you need the Sports Pack in March!

The sports packages will get you access to most of the listed games. Obviously if a game is on a channel you can't get (like YES Network on Dish, or a local station outside of your market), than you won't be able to get that game.

There could always be games added, such as by ESPN, but this data is accurate as of 2/22/09.

Between the 183 games that are in this list, and the WBC games, March is bound to get anyone in the mood for baseball! Enjoy!

You can also use OpenOffice.org if you want a program similar to Excel for free

thanks for the list

Thanks so much, you put a lot of time and work into this. I appreciate this.

I'm not too sure if you're going to be able to see any of these games on the RSN's via Dish. They usually black them out. Sometimes a game or two will leak through, but most are blacked out. Another in a long list of reasons why Dish is not sports fan friendly.

I think most of the preseason games are shown without the blackout. Wish the sports pack did not cost as much as a premium on Directv, would get it if it was 5.99 or so like dish...Oh well, ready for baseball!!!

Last season DISH blacked out nearly all of them. The Red Sox games weren't for some reason but just about everything else was.

If they are blacked out it is SOLELY on dish's decision. Baseball has no blackout requirements for preseason games, and the were all open on Directv last year (except one or two errors very early on).

Mets Spring Games were on Dish last year on SNY

That's because SNY is probably your "local" RSN. Those outside the NYC area are not going to see any spring training games on SNY via Dish. They blackout everything. Heck, they blackout "classic" baseball games on the RSN's. It's just ridiculous.
