I'm trying to help someone else add a DVD player to their existing system. Unfortunately, I'm not hands on with the system right now, but hopefully it's simple enough that I once there it won't be a problem.

The system includes a Dish Network JVC301 receiver, and a Symphonic TV-VCR SC 319A. I need to add a Toshiba SD-V393SU1 DVD player. Can someone help with the instructions on adding the DVD player.

Thanks!

Well if the TV has RCA jacks on the back you just plug it in. If the TV only has the coax connection then you will have to get an FM modulator to hook up the DVD player.

If the back of the particular TV set has component video inputs (red-blue-green), you can use a component video cable. It's about $10 at WalMart.
