So which pkgs have BBC HD now?
anyone with absolute get it? for extra fee or free?

None of the packages have BBC-HD.... It's not available on Dish.

But it should be available s------ oh, never mind.

There's a chance we'll see it by 2/1/10. Nothing definite.

I saw BBCHD on dish...... it was the logo for it back in a charlie chat in December.

BBC-A uses the HD logo on all of their promo spots, regardless of where they appear. I've learned to live with the disappointment.

I also saw Davenport Iowa Hd locals on Charlie chat 15 months ago, but I don't see them

BBCHD is available on DISH, Only if you want to look at the logo thou.

It's in test mode now. So maybe in a few days. Scott has said something about when but it's not till next week most likely.

If you have an box with an engineering account then its available on Dish.

I have seen it with my own eyes.

The question is when is Dish going to turn it on for all of us.

Looked fine, but honestly I saw it via a Slingbox on a friends receiver who works for Dish so I can't really judge too much.

Top Gear has a web site that posts every episode for download. The latest season was posted in SD and HD. The HD was .mkv file so it required mkv2vob converter to format as mpeg2 for streaming from PC to PS3.

IT LOOKED AND SOUNDED GREAT IN HD!

Dr. Who has the same set up. Bummed I did not bookmark the Doctor's site. HD Doctor with Dolby Digital! Same as above, it looked fantastic.

Both were 720p.
