Folders in a external HD

Is it possible to add folders to an EHD? If so, how does one go about doing this?

Not a dumb question at all. It gets asked from time to time. Unfortunately the answer is there is no way to add folders to the EHD. If you have several recordings of a same named program like let's say, Kennedy Center Honors, you will have all of them under the same tile which will show the number of recordings. You can't make a folder of say, SciFi, and put all of your SciFi recordings in it.

1-Create folders in EHDs.
2-Edit (rename) recorded shows from network subs when guide information is not available.

DOS 1.0 had folders named 1 through 16. In 1983, DOS 2.0 introduced user-defined sub-folders. When Dish has perfected this cutting-edge technology, they will implement it ..... Soon.
