BBC One Radio on DISH Network??

BBC One launches on Sirius 97 on Wednesday. Will it be on DISH Channel 6097 as well??

There are a lot of good shows that I'd love to be able to time shift using DISH PVR.. this would be THE reason for me to subscribe to American Top 120 package.

Sirius will time shift BBC One to our time anyway.

That's not the point. There are good shows at different periods of the day. I want to listen to the show I want at the time *I* want. That's the whole point of DISH PVR and Tivo.

It's in the music channel range so it may be possible, but this one seems pretty unique so It doesn't seem likely.

I checked last night just for fun and 6097 was indeed BBC One.

Now I am wondering whether there is something on BBC One that I would want to TiVo to listen to later... time to check the sirius website link, I guess...

there is a 5 hour delay or more

They broadcast the same time for Eastern time zone as London

8:00 in London gets played at 8:00 NY time

Because when they said it was 5 0' clock, it was 5 o' clock

On Sirius, they had a preview before launching and they were saying

"when its on at 8:00 in London, it will be on at 8:00 in New York"

At the risk of sounding stupid what is BBC One ? I know that it's British Brodcasting but what kind of programming ?
