After trying 1 meter and 2.5meter parabolics

We finally we able to lock Anik 6
in on all transponders with a 3.5 meter Head End
dish her in Wyoming.

I was surprised that the drop off on the foot print was so severe.

I think snowbirds south of here in the west will have to just spoof a Canadian ip and go via the Internet or Sling box off a grey market sub near the border.

Thought folks might like to know our experience.

Yeah, just over 11 foot diameter .

Everything pegs on the sig strength meter.

I guess I can just give up on my idea of a 120cm dish on the NC/VA border! I can get 82 with a 76 cm dish no problem. Makes me think the guy who said that he was getting N6 in Florida really was not!
