I'm looking for a 19-22 inch HDTV/DVD combo TV. Any suggestions on what to get? Looking to spend under $500 if possible. Thanks.

I would also stay away from combo anything. You will almost always find a better overall deal and quality buying separately AND if one goes out you don't have to sacrifice the other. YOu also say "DVD" which implys standard DVD and maybe one that upconverts as well. Is this what you mean? Hope these give ideas.

You may be able to find some of the discontinued items at even lower prices.

Well, normally I would separate the two but this one is going in our bedroom or kitchen so I don't have the extra space for a stand alone dvd player. I'm looking for something looks good with digital cable tv as well as dvd's.

Something like this one: Toshiba 19LV505

Anybody know if it is a good tv?

Well, I don't know that unit, but I believe Toshiba is a good HDTV brand.

Thanks navychop. There aren't a lot of choices out there for a hdtv/dvd combo. Anybody else have any suggestions?

No brand names with warrenty support, that I'm aware of. Got one for my grandson at Sam's. RCA 22" They also had Westinghouse, GE and Magnavox, in different sizes. I think Toshiba stopped making combos in smaller sizes and not sure if LG made combos in smaller sizes. Sony makes a snap on add on with HDMI cable but doesn't offer any sets smaller than 32" that it will work on.:D
