What's the best option to mount an OTA antenna on a D* dish (3 or 5LNB)? Antenna is a 21" saucer shaped one:

Dish is probably going to end up mounted on the roof.

Have you already bought that antenna? I bought it and returned it, found two antenna that were better IMO.

plus the terk comes with a mount for a dish pole.

Yeah, already have the Radio Shack antenna. Works great mounted on a pole where it is now, but I'm having a patio put in, so I'd like to attach it to the dish.

You guys are not comparing the same type of antennas. The round antenna is Omni-directional, the Philips is an amplified single dipole, and the Terk (made by Winegard) I think is a type of bow bay design, or maybe phased array. Each antenna type has different characteristics. Where one will work great in one situation may not meet the needs of another location.
