Best Setup for signal

Right now I have a dish 1000.2 and a VIP722 reciever in an apartment.

Latly I've been thinking of tinkering with this setup to get more signal to see if I can avoid rain problems. I was wondering if a super dish might help since a larger dish does get more signal. I also want to keep the 1 wire from the dish setup which I dont know if it's possible.

Any suggestions?

Get a Dish 1000+. Downside is you also need a DPP44 or DPP33 switch.

is it peaked just right? rain should not bother the signal. 1000.2 is a good dish if aimed and installed correctly. a superdish or 1000+ uses older technology, and for your one line request, you would need a very expensive dpp44sw.
