Best way to keep a PTAT series ?

What is the best way to keep a series that is a PTAT recording? So far what I do is go into PTAT recordings and got to the shows I wanna keep individually and save em to a folder every night or 2.

You can specify ahead of time which shows you want to save by marking them for recording. The Hopper will save a copy in your recordings.

You can also set a traditional timer for the show that is part of PTAT and it will accomplish the same thing. (Pull the PTAT recording and save a copy in your recordings.)

If I "save series" I notice creates a timer, when the timer fires will it use an additional tuner or does it just record a copy from the default ptat timer.

It's for most but there are some people it doesn't work for. I love it. Just having autohop makes it worth it in my book. But some people do not watch those channels at all, so they want that tuner elsewhere. and I have mine turned off for Saturdays. So I am glad they give choices.
