OK, First off. I am an old Cband installer so I am knowledgable in the Sat field. With that I am looking for the fastest easiest way to convert my NICE big old Voom dish to Dishpro so I can get my old voom HD on my Dishnetwork 921 without paying for an install. Just want to call and turn them on :)
I currently have a dish pro 500 dish with a Dishpro quad lnb on it. Getting 119 and 110. It is hooked to 2 dp-34's. With a nice empty input for my Voom sat to plug into.

Know I know my voom sat has the old Dtv style square legacy LNB on it currently. I thought in the past I saw where there was a simple adapter available to convert the Legacy mount to Dish pro oval sytle. Am I nuts??

I saw at Dishstore they have a y adapter. However I read about having to cut mount and yada yada, I am hopeing there is a simple convertor available that I can buy a single dishpro lnb off ebay (9.99) to mount to it.

I read the other post about cutting the end and bending to accomidate the oval dishpro mount. My luck I would mess that up.

I REALLY NEED MY VOOM!!
I dont want to pay Dish to come mess it up :shocked

Thank you

Try going to the index (the sticky post at top of this forum), and then reading the thread on installing 61.5.

There's at least three ways to do it.

I found the link to the place that sells and manufactures the Square base DP lnbs. However it does not list a price for them and it has a taiwan address. Does anyone know how or where I could purchase this lnb as it would be the most simple switch.
Thanks
