Big ATSC 3.0 Update

Remember it will not affect reception by cable or satellite.

Isn't there some resistance from cablecos because the ATSC 3 shift will somehow cost them money?

Who still uses cable or satellite? Smaller and smaller numbers every day.

And by satellite I mean DBS..

I use a combination of Dish and OTA.

Lon just came out with a new video which features some of the responses against DRM in the ATSC v3.0 standards.

I didn't realize that cable/satellite providers would be required to have all the same interactive features in their locals if ATSC 3.0 was implemented. I can see why they would be opposed to that and the money they would need to spend on it.
