I didn't see the "marriage" coming between Denny and Allen. They were practicaly saying that they were soul mates -but without the sex. I guess it was a very over the top liberal way of ending the liberal leaning show. It also makes sense to end the series before a democratic president takes office. They were like a show that kept the candle of opposition burning through the dark years of BUSH. They showed their charachters saying what most people wanted to say . I'll miss this show.
