Bourne 5 Has Already Found Its Villan http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Bourne-5-Has-Already-Found-Its-Villan-80367.html
A spy movie is only as good as its hero and its villain. In Matt Damon’s Jason Bourne, the franchise that bears his name already has a fantastic hero, and when the actor returns to the role for Bourne 5, he’s going to face off against one hell of an antagonist, or at least an actor who plays one hell of a villain.Variety reports that acclaimed French actor Vincent Cassel will play the primary baddie Jason Bourne must face off against in his next adventure. There aren’t a ton of details available about his role, but the 48-year-old actor will reportedly play a high-level assassin tracking the title hero. Whether or not he’s been sent after the amnesiac spy or is out for a little revenge on his own dime (it’s easy to imagine Bourne taking out someone important to the hitman), remains to be seen, but Cassel is the latest in a line of antagonists that includes notable actors like Karl Urban, Clive Owen, and Edgar Ramirez.Cassel is most known to mainstream audiences for roles in films like Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen, but he’s also shown up in the likes of Black Swan, Eastern Promises, and even lent his voice to Shrek. In a career dating back to 1988, and including no less than 70 roles, Cassel has never been one to shy away from a challenge, risk, or controversy, especially evident in his role in Gaspar Noe’s notorious Irreversible, which is all three.

Matt Damon: 'Jason Bourne would kick the s--t out of Batman' http://www.ew.com/article/2015/09/13/matt-damon-jason-bourne-batman
Forget Batman v Superman. How about Batman v Bourne? According to Matt Damon, the Caped Crusader can’t hold a candle to Jason Bourne.During the Toronto International Film Festival, E! News asked the actor if his action hero persona could take on Batman, played by his pal Ben Affleck in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.“Jason Bourne would kick the s–t out of Batman — absolutely!” Damon said. “Batman’s gotta take on Superman first. If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne.”Damon is in the middle of filming the fifth Bourne movie, directed by Paul Greengrass and co-starring Julia Stiles and The Danish Girl’s Alicia Vikander. According to him, he doesn’t need to portray a comic book character when Bourne is his superhero.“I think they’re kind of out of superheroes,” he said. “Ben’s going to be like the sixth or seventh Batman, so I don’t think there’s really any left. So I’m good. Jason Bourne is my superhero.”Damon will be seen next in The Martian, opening in theaters Oct. 2.

What Bourne 5 Will Be About, According To Matt Damon http://www.cinemablend.com/new/What-Bourne-5-About-According-Matt-Damon-84467.html
It's been a while since we last saw Matt Damon's Jason Bourne. Sure, Jeremy Renner helped perpetuate the franchise with 2012's The Bourne Legacy, but eight years have passed since we've actually seen the series' titular character. As a result, fans are curious as to exactly what he's been up to since we last saw him - but the good news is that Paul Greengrass' untitled Bourne 5 will help deliver answers to all of those questions. Damon is still in production on the fifth installment of the Bourne franchise, but he's been taking a break from the film recently to take part in the press tour for Ridley Scott's The Martian. As such, he's had the opportunity to talk about his action franchise a bit, and it was while speaking with the New York Daily News that he explained what exactly what we can expect the new Bourne movie to be about. Teasing both the plot and the project's process through development, Damon explained,

The One Superhero Matt Damon Still Dreams Of Playing http://www.cinemablend.com/new/One-Superhero-Matt-Damon-Still-Dreams-Playing-84707.html
Although Matt Damon has starred in his fair share of actions films, he has yet to take on a superhero role. The only character he’s played that comes remotely close is Jason Bourne (who he recently said could take down Batman), but fighting skills aside, the spy extraordinaire doesn’t make that particular cut. While there are few superheroes that Damon is eagerly campaigning to portray (he already has an established blockbuster career), there’s one character from the comics he still dreams of playing: Daredevil. During an interview with NY Daily News, Damon mentioned how he had considered playing Daredevil in the 2003 film directed by Mark Steven Johnson, since he and his buddy Ben Affleck (a.k.a. the new Batman) were big fans of Marvel’s Man Without Fear. Damon said he "chickened out" because he didn’t know if it was a good fit for him, and as we all know, Affleck ended up taking the role. Despite this lost opportunity, Damon did divulge a scenario where he would play Daredevil no questions asked. According to the actor:
