We just went through one of the worst Blizzards in West Texas record keeping. Winds were constant at over 30mph and gusts over 60mph. There were some major white outs. With all that I never lost my Dish reception.

In February of this year, we had over 10" of snow here in NW Alabama. The only reason I lost signal was due to snow collecting on my dish, once I went out and wiped it away, signal came back in. Of course, it didn't do much good for long, shortly after that the weight of the snow brought down trees on powerlines and the power went out. But, I had good service while I had power.
